The carnival of Paso de los Libres or Carnival de Frontera, is one of the most important celebrations in Argentina and takes place in the city that borders the Brazilian city of Uruguayana. Carnival Parades in Paso de los Libres

 

The parades take place several days a week in the sambódromo of the city, where the comparsas have a determined space to carry out the choreographies and to be able to move freely with the floats.

The first parades are carried out by the group B, orsamba schools, they perform in the sambódromo for 3 consecutive days from night to dawn and each one of them has a determined time to carry out its presentation.

 

 

Then, the comparsas of group A take place, which are composed of participants of the highest level and who must compete together with the other comparsas. The Group A groups perform for 4 consecutive days and are judged by a series of professionals under strict regulations. The groups must perform aelaborate presentation that contains elements such as choreography, costumes and music.
