The Arroyo Carnival or Arroyano Carnival is a celebration that occurs every year in the municipality of Arroyo, Puerto Rico. Arroyano Carnival has been celebrating uninterruptedly for the past 53 years, holding events that represent the culture and traditions of the people of the municipality.

History of the Arroyo Carnivals

Puerto Rican carnival has been present in the country since the 19th century. During the first carnivals in the country, celebrations with masks and dances were held. Events in Arroyo Carnival
